Brook Lopez Foot Injury

The Brooklyn Nets have had a solid start to the 2012-2013 NBA season, but their starting center, Brook Lopez, has missed the past 3 games and is going to miss tonight’s game against Golden State as well. Brook Lopez is nursing a right foot sprain but did take part in a light individual workout Thursday that included running and shooting but no lateral movement and no contact. This season Lopez is averaging 18.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks. Head coach Avery Johnson said that depending on how Lopez’s foot responds, he may participate in “all parts or some parts” of the shoot around Friday morning and the practice Saturday.
